Recognising that Islaam is a holistic way of life, our students will be studying Qur’anic Studies, Arabic Language Studies, Islamic Studies, Authentic Du’a & Adhkaar Memorisation.
Through teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, we aspire to nurture our Muslim community in the India to espouse sound Islamic principles .

1) WEEKEND
MADRASAH

Qur'anic Studies

‘Abdullaah Ibn ‘Amr Ibn Al-’Aas heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: “It will be said to the companion of the Qur’an: Read and elevate (through the levels of the Paradise) and beautify your voice as you used to do when you were in the dunyaa! For verily, your position in the Paradise will be at the last verse you recite!” [Aboo Dawood and At Tirmithee, Saheeh]

Indeed the book of Allah, the Qur’an is honoured, respected, and revered by the ones in who’s hearts Allah has instilled the radiance of imaan. By its virtue, it necessitates that one must learn to read it, to frequently recite it and to follow its guidance. Our focus is to teach our young brothers and sisters the correct recitation of the Qur’an with Tajweed as well as encourage the memorisation of the Qur’an. Students will learn the pronunciation of the letters and the rules relating to recitation under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers. Each student will be assessed on an individual basis and targets will be set accordingly.

1) WEEKEND
MADRASAH

Arabic Language Studies

It suffices to highlight the virtue of seeking to learn the Arabic language, for one to know that it is the language of the Holy Qur’an, the eternally divine miracle, which was revealed to be a source of spiritual life and guidance for mankind until the end of times. Allaah ﷻ, chose the Arabic language to be the vessel which would carry this light and illuminate the hearts of mankind with guidance. As Allah says in the Qur’an

“We have made it a Qur’an in Arabic that you may be able to understand (its meanings and its admonitions)” (43:3) Incorporating Al Arabia Baina Yadyk as well as devising our own unique progressive books for the courses, we have carefully designed a structured syllabus to teach Arabic in a non Arabic-speaking environment to learners from a broad age range. As students progress in building up their knowledge of Arabic grammar and vocabulary, they are able to put into practice the skills they have acquired through written exercises, spoken passages of dialogue and comprehension exercises.

1) WEEKEND
MADRASAH

Islamic Studies

Given the dire need for authentic Islamic studies material in schools incorporating the subject in English, with the support of qualified instructors and experienced Shuyukh, AISI Madrasah have tailored our Islamic Studies syllabus to suit the needs of our students according to their levels.

These books shall be the main basis that will be used in class, as they cover all areas of Islamic studies; Tafseer, Hadith, Tawhid, Seerah, and general etiquettes & Islamic mannerisms relating to different areas and situations. Students will also be taught basic elements of Fiqh; such as the components of Wudhu, how to pray, the rules pertaining to fasting etc, in addition to being familiarised with stories of the prophets, the mothers of the believers as well as the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. From this understanding, through the education of cohesive universal as well as Islamic values we hope this will acquaint the student with the balanced teachings of Islaam in a holistic way, every aspect of beliefs, practices and moral conduct. We hope this will bring about Muslims who love to worship their Lord, have tolerance & respect for one another, enjoin righteousness & peace, always upholding justice whilst rejecting extremism & violence. Each lesson is followed by exercises to monitor the student’s comprehension.
