Who We Are

Growing from its humble origins the Institute now educates boy/men and girl/women on separate campuses. Offering two full-time programs- The Hifz-ul-Qur’an Program and Alimiyyah Program- AISI follows a classical method of instruction, emphasizing close teacher-student interaction and focusing on textual transmission and analysis. The Institute secondarily offers weekend and evening programs for young and adult learners.

We invite you to learn more about our institute and our programs, both full-time and part-time. May Allah swt bless you now and forever.

Why Philosophy

Verily Allah the Exalted is pure.
He does not accept but that which is pure.
Allah commands the believers with what He commanded the Messengers. al-Arba’in an-Nawawiyah of Imam an-Nawawi
O you Messengers
Eat of the good things and act righteously
al Qur’an, Surah al Mu’minoon, Ayah 51
From this we understand that we cannot provide a service for our community to gain the bounties of Allah through means of impureness by mixing good deeds with some bad, passing off that which is Haram as ‘Halal’ and vice

versa as the end product will not be accepted by Allah (Subhana Wataallah). An example is found in a man who owns a restaurant that serves Halal food but he also sells alcohol- his earnings will be Haram and rejected, likewise we aim to provide the most pure authentic Islamic education with consideration and care for our students and teachers by avoiding all that may lead to evil and all that maybe of doubt.

“A woman is an accountable individual just as a man is. She is obliged to seek knowledge of her duties so that she may perform them properly.” {Ahkaam al Nisaa’}

The obligation of seeking knowledge is continuing and constant upon the Muslims, this condition falls on both genders of Male and Female. Imam Ibn al Jawzi (rahimahullah) said:

AISI recognises that the vast majority of people have full time commitments that engage and absorb their time ranging from work, studies and family; these days in particular for our sisters certain difficulties are faced as to the environment in society at large, in public places and even amongst situations with Muslims that are not ideal nor conducive for them in going on the path of knowledge whilst trying retain their modesty.
It is therefore with consideration of all these factors in mind that tend to preoccupy us that Tayyibun aims to serve and assist such Muslims with varied commitments by providing a flexible approach to learning with teaching in a small group capacity, retaining an Islamic environment with segregation between the genders and bringing education on your own terms- at a time best suitable and convenient to yourself.
